ORWL_ advised Relai EU on obtaining its CASP licence with the AMF.

ORWL_ is pleased to have assisted Relai EU in obtaining its crypto-asset service provider (CASP) licence, granted by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).

Founded in Switzerland in 2020, Relai is a bitcoin-only investment app that enables users to buy and sell bitcoin easily and securely, while retaining full control over their digital assets through its non-custodial model.

The licence obtained by the group’s French subsidiary will allow Relai to expand its services across the European Union, in line with the harmonised framework introduced by the MiCA Regulation, and to offer clients a simple and transparent investment experience that meets the highest financial and cybersecurity standards.

ORWL_ advised the company on the structuring of its French subsidiary, the preparation of the licence application (regulatory analysis, drafting of internal policies and procedures), and all interactions with the regulator.
