Sophia Robaia-Cottier is an associate tax lawyer in ORWL_’s tax team.

Sophia primarily practices in digital and crypto-asset taxation. She advises both individual and corporate clients on tax planning, audits, and tax litigation. Her expertise notably includes structuring issues, international tax matters, and VAT applicable to crypto-asset-related activities. orwl.fr.

Sophia holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Tax Law from the University of Burgundy, as well as a second Master’s degree in Wealth Management. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2024, she joined the firm at the beginning of 2025.

Before joining ORWL, Sophia worked as a wealth manager in the private banking division of a bank. She also gained experience at law firms specializing in wealth and business taxation, as well as in the legal department of an accounting firm. She was sworn in as an attorney in 2024 and practiced for one year as an associate lawyer at a law firm focused on legal issues related to tech and blockchain.
