Sophia Robaia-Cottier is an associate lawyer in the tax team at ORWL_.

Sophia specializes in digital taxation and crypto-asset tax matters. She advises both individual and corporate clients on tax planning, audits, and litigation. Her expertise includes structuring, international taxation, and VAT issues related to crypto-asset activities.

Education and experiences

Sophia holds a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the University of Burgundy and a second Master’s degree in Wealth Management. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2024, she joined ORWL at the beginning of 2025.

Prior to joining ORWL, Sophia worked as a wealth manager in a private banking division. She also gained experience in law firms specializing in private client and corporate tax, as well as in the legal department of an accounting and advisory firm. After being admitted to the Bar, she spent a year as an associate in a law firm focused on legal issues related to tech and blockchain.
