Sophia Robaia-Cottier is an associate tax lawyer in ORWL_’s tax team.
Expertise
Sophia specialises in crypto-asset taxation. She advises both individuals and corporates on VAT issues relating to crypto activities and public token offerings, assists crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) in negotiations with the French tax authority (DGFiP) or the AMF where tax intersects with regulation, and conducts tax due-diligence ahead of fundraising rounds.
Sophia holds degrees in Tax Law and Wealth Management from the Universities of Bourgogne-Europe and Grenoble-Alpes, and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2024.
